Inadvertent mischief??

Asiatic Lions also known as Indian Lions are found in the Gir forests of Gujarat and in the surrounding areas. This species is declared as endangered by IUCN, international organisation working for nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. But there is an encouraging fact, according to the 2015 census, the total number of lions count was 523 which used to have 411 in year 2010. Increase in the number of lions has made the periphery of the villages more susceptible to risk for people residing there. In the last two years, huge number of lions has died of which some are unnatural deaths like they get electricity shock by coming in contact with live wires put up by farmers for the protection of their crops and falling of lions into the deep wells which are left open by farmers as well. This arises a question over the conservation of the biggest cats and for the safety of the people.

The coins thrown into the pool by people for their own good luck became bad luck for turtle as it swallowed the coins mistaking them as food and it became cause of its death. This is about Thailand turtle named "Omsin" which was recently in news, it underwent surgery after swallowing hundereds of coins.
